Enhancing the prospects for cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)

As part of the efforts to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences with international bodies that contribute to the development of the common Arab vision for the digital economy, the Advisor for the Council of Arab Economic Unity and Chairman of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khouri visited the headquarters of the United Nations Development Program in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Al-Khouri met with H.E. Frode Mauring, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in the UAE and discussed the mechanisms of cooperation in the digital economy in the Arab world, along with the opportunities of bringing together international expertise and best practices with Arab counterparts in the field of sustainable development.

UNDP works in collaboration with government institutions, the private sector, academia and civil society organizations for mutually agreed-upon results, innovations and employing safeguards that provide quality sustainable development services.
