MOU with the Digital Government Services in the United Kingdom

In line with the efforts to develop a common Arab vision for the digital economy in light of the rapid changes in the global economic scene and the vast opportunities offered by the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, the Council of the Arab Economic Unity at the League of Arab States signed a memorandum of understanding with the Digital Government Services at the United Kingdom, to cooperate in the research and development in the fields of economy and digital transformation.

These efforts follow the establishment of the Arab Federation of Digital Economy in April 2018 and the beginning of planning the Arab vision strategy for digital economy. A sub-committee has been formed and includes a number of experts and international and Arab practitioners and organizations to review the strategy and the initiatives and projects that will emerge to improve the livelihood of the Arab citizens and societies.
