About us

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy was established by the Council of Arab Economic Unity at the League of Arab States in April 2018 with the honorary presidency of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates.


The Arab Federation for Digital Economy aspires to support the digital transformation, financial inclusion and the development of the knowledge-based, legislative and technological infrastructure in the Arab World as well as mobilizing Arab and international capacities and uniting efforts to positively influence the Arab societies and improve quality of life in the Arab member states.


The Federation is chaired by Dr. Ali Khouri, the advisor for the Council of Arab Economy at the League of the Arab States. Dr. Al- Khouri ranked 23rd in the world’s most influential in Digital Government report published in 2018 by Apolitical, a UK-based policy platform for governments.
